End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These machines have superior performance features which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck units.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space needed to operate these machines are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These equipment are an excellent alternative for applications that require frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
Numerous businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments could arrange finished goods on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a way that is safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also include a hydraulic system that allows the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without difficulty, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
