Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts provide height and versatility. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual using it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts can not move the cargo away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
In situations requiring high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will usually utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is designed to hoist staff is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a strap or chain is used to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
