Used Skyjack Boom Lifts Salem

Starting in the year 1986, Skyjack began making scissor lift platforms. They continued this mass production through the 1990s and became a world leader in the aerial lift industry sector. Eventually, Skyjack grew to more than 30% market share overall. Even these days, the company maintains their dominance as an important player who has quickly adapted to the changing face of the industrial machine industry.

Some of the key factors that Skyjack has built a solid reputation on include their commitment to reliability and quality. They are recognized worldwide as being the maker of the best scissor lifts in the world. The Skyjack product line is manufactured and sold all over the world.

Skyjack was purchased by Linamar Corporation, LNR on the TSX during August 2002. Linamar is recognized for being a leading manufacturer of assemblies, modules and precision-machined parts. Linamar's solid balance sheet offers Skyjack with long-term stability and increased strength overall. Skyjack presently has production plants within Salem, Hungary and the US with support offices in Asia and Europe.

The company has a lot of self-propelled scissor lifts in its lineup, with models which can work at heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader in the business by offering equipment features which combined durability, serviceability, service and quality, making Skyjack scissor lifts recognized all around the world for product dependability. The company's existing Boom lift model lineup consists of telescopic booms. These models provide telescopic booms which feature work heights varying from 45 to 71 feet. The company plans further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

In the month of August the year 2007, the purchase of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business complements the purchase of Carelift Equipment. This business purchase expands Skyjack's Telehandler product offering resulting in the additional VR series telehandlers and the Zoom Boom series. These acquisitions provide the company an opportunity to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way within the business, providing reliable lift solutions.
